How to play Unjam
Slide the blocks out of the way, then move the yellow block out through the gap on the right. Each block only slides along its length.
Tips
- Work backward: see what stands in front of the yellow block, then what stands in the way of that block.
- A long upright block in the yellow block’s row usually has to go all the way up or down. Make room for it early.

- Yes. Unjam is free and runs in your browser, with nothing to install. You can play without an account; sign in with Google or Apple to keep your results and streak on every device.
- When is there a new puzzle?
- Every day at 00:00 UTC. Everyone gets the same board, so you can compare times with friends and see where you stand on today’s leaderboard.
- How does the leaderboard work?
- Fastest time wins. The clock starts when you press Start and stops when the board is solved, and every solution is checked on our server.
- Can I play more than one Unjam puzzle a day?
- Yes. Besides the daily puzzle there are 50 levels that get harder step by step, and an unlimited mode with a new board in the size you choose.
